FIFA UPDATE
Yesterday, news of corruption allegations broke across Twitter and of course that was a major point of my blog post yesterday. Could not help but follow up with a few more. Tsk, tsk, tsk.
1) READ:
RT @insidewldftball: Qatar 2022 angrily deny they bribed IOC member to get World Cup http://t.co/OWzxdA0—

2) THE CLAIM:

TRAYLOR TRAGEDY
Former University of Michigan big man, Robert “Tractor” Traylor passed away today at the young age of 34. In Puerto Rico where he continued to play basketball, he was found dead in his apartment of an ‘apparent’ heart attack. Many folks will remember this below:

VALUE OF TWITTER
In case there are still doubters out there about the ever-increasing value of Twitter in sports, take a look at these tweets from today. Who says tweets don’t pay?
Example: we just signed up a new WC Club Member from Saudi Arabia yesterday. How he knew to join: "Referred By: greg byrne on twitter"—
