Spanning the Twitterverse to bring you the constant variety of tweets
The thrill of the retweet and the agony of the unfollow
The human drama of the twitter timeline
This is CadChica’s Wide World of Tworts
In covering Twitter in sports, I get stories that practically write themselves. Such was the case last night with the Maryland Pride Parade (aka: uniform massacre). Those are always fun to ‘span’ the Twitterverse for to see what people were saying.
And then there are days like today when you see this kind of tweet:
Sick to my stomach due to the sudden death of @BobbyRhine heart attack age 35. I'm so sorry to @FCDallas family and Rhine's as well in STL—

Honestly, I’m never quite sure how to approach this type of news. Do I post on it or not? With NFL set to begin and college conference realignment dominating headlines, understandably of course, soccer news tends to get lost in the fall.
Death is inevitable. Knowing that never makes it easier for those left behind. But reading the tweet reactions today to Mr. Rhine’s death, struck a chord with me that I felt was worth sharing. Please keep the sentiment in the forefront of your mind as you read through these, including some heart-wrenching ones toward the end.
