@jefflongUA
When you’re in the public eye, criticism happens. When you’re in the public eye and on Twitter, AND you happen to chair the committee that just decided the four teams to participate in the first-ever Division I-A football playoffs…well, goodbye to your @ mentions. When Twitter is angry…well…people tend to not hold back with their emotions.
Exhibit A: Jeff Long, Arkansas Razorbacks “Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics and Director of Athletics College Football Playoff Selection Committee” (from his Twitter bio). He felt the full wrath of “angry Twitter”.
NOTE: Tweets are not unfiltered.
@jefflongUA why even have rankings then? You are an embarrassment to college football along with the 12 other idiots.

@jefflongUA how did Barry Alvarez vote? I'm sure for his Big 10 conference. It benefits him more if Ohio St in the playoffs then TCU

@CFBPlayoff @jefflongUA except when they don't vote one week! Take responsibility and vote every week or step down!

And at #4 the @CFBPlayoff & @jefflongUA select "Money, money, money!" *ESPN shushes them* "Umm…we mean Ohio State." Zero credibility.

@slmandel @jefflongUA Should be fired along with the rest of the sorry committee. I have no dog in this fight but they defy logic

@jefflongUA I guarantee u if it would have been OU and Texas instead of baylor or TCU, ohio state would not have got in. All about the $$$

@jefflongUA if the committee somehow feels like this is right and OSU gets destroyed…. You should all have to resign

Just remember folks, committe & @jefflongUA believe you're so stupid/naive that you'll believe any story they make up to get their way.

If that wasn’t enough from college football fans today, let’s do a quick search of committee member, Condoleeza Rice. Politically-influenced tweets, for sure. Let’s shorten it to “Condi” for Twitter-character sake:
Condi Rice involved in idiotic decision making? Well, I guess there's a first time for everything.
— Quincy Miller (@big_hungry_joe) December 7, 2014
Committee, as expected, simply didn't have courage to just say why TCU is better than Baylor & Ohio St. But anything Condi related wouldn't.
— Andrew Jerell Jones (@sluggahjells) December 7, 2014
I blame Condi. For everything, not just this. Literally everything.

President Bush is a Texas A&M fan. TAMU rivals TCU and Baylor were left out. Bush's right hand woman Condi Rice was on the comm. #StayWoke
